They can also use the web address to refer their friends because it is very simple to drop the link inside of an email.

So a small business website performs more then one function. It is a sort of super business card because it reminds customers of the contact information and product. It is also a super business directory advertisement which is not restricted to a tiny space, but can contain unlimited pages. Sometimes a business will even post information forms or online order systems online to make it easier for a consumer to place a sale or change an order. This also saves manpower for the company.

But some small business owners still do not have a website. Perhaps they have priced them and found that a web designer is very expensive, or has a long waiting list of clients and will take too long to complete the project. Some business owners just think the process is too complicated, and so they have put it off. On the other hand, some business owners have taken the plunge and invested in an online presence. But then they realize that nobody is ever visiting it, so it has not paid off as an investment.
